Creating Tasks

The current version of Openstrat provides two ways to create tasks. You can choose the one that best suits your preferences.

Method 1: Manually via the Task Creation Page

📍 Steps

Step 1: Open the Task Creation Page

• 🖱️ Click the Task button at the bottom left of the homepage
• 📍 The Task button is located before the chat input box
• 🏠 Layout diagram:

Step 2: Select Task Configuration

Follow the on-page instructions:

1. Select Task Type

   • Short-Term Technical Bottom (7-day cycle)
   • Long-Term Technical Bottom (30-day cycle)

2. Select Target Stock

   • BTC (Bitcoin)
   • U.S. M7 stocks

Step 3: Complete Creation

• ✅ Confirm the configuration
• 🚀 Click "Create Task" to complete

Method 2: Creating via AI Chat

💬 Command Format

In any AI chat window, input the following:

Start a short-term technical bottom for XXX (stock code)

or:

Start a long-term technical bottom for XXX (stock code)

✅ Confirmation Indicators

After the task is created, you'll see:

1. 🔔 Pop-up Notification

   • A message box saying "Task created successfully"
   • Includes basic task info

2. 💬 Task Chat Window

   • A dedicated chat interface appears
   • Allows viewing task status and history

⚠️ Important Reminder

AI may occasionally make mistakes, so success is confirmed only if both the pop-up and task window appear.

If the AI only replies with confirmation text but no pop-up or chat window appears, the task has failed and needs to be retried.

🚨 Common Issues & Solutions

Issue 1: Task Creation Failed

Possible Causes:

• Incorrect stock code
• Unsupported task type
• Network connectivity issue

Solutions:

1. Check the spelling of the stock code
2. Make sure it's in the supported list
3. Retry after checking your network connection

Issue 2: No Confirmation Notification

Steps to resolve:

1. ⏳ Wait 3–5 seconds for processing
2. 🔍 Check the task panel at the lower left for a new task
3. 📱 Refresh the page or restart the app
4. 🔄 If it still fails, try creating again

Issue 3: Unsure of Stock Code

Reference Guide:

• Use standard U.S. stock codes (e.g., AAPL, MSFT)
• Use "BTC" for Bitcoin (in uppercase)
• Make sure the spelling is exact
• Refer to the supported stock list above
